Christmas Time Fun!

So even though we have all been sick, we managed to have fun family home evening making a gingerbread house and a gingerbread train. I think the kids probably ate more candy than they put on their creations but it was fun anyways!

We couldn't get them to smile so we went for the silly faces instead!!

We went and had Christmas pictures and Emily's 2 year pictures done today. The kids did a good job and like usual there were too many cute ones. It made it really hard to choose. Here are a few of the many!

Not My Baby Anymore

It's official. Emily is no longer my baby girl. She is a big girl. Saturday night we finally purchased the "big girl" bed. The first night she laid in it for about 5 minutes and then wanted back in her crib. After church on Sunday she actually took a nap in it!!! Sunday night at about 3 am I rolled over to her standing next to my bed. She didn't want to go back to bed so she ended up in the crib. Last night she did it!! All night long in the "big girl" bed. So folks I am sad to report that she is officially a "big girl" now (or will be as soon as she is potty trained).

I finally have a working computer and have found the time post some pictures. I should be much better at keeping up now.

Here is Ethan on his first day of preschool. He absolutely loves it. He only goes three mornings a week but he wishes he could go everyday! He says his favorite thing is that they do lots of stuff!

Zach couldn't wait for Emily to open her princess dress-up. He wanted to put it on until he tried on the heels. Then he realized that being a girl and having to wear heels is no fun!
